Webcomics are often cited as the future of comics and the internet and I don’t know what else, but the fact that no one has retired from them yet means that I, at least, rest a little uneasy in these shoes sometimes if only for the lack of having a dependable compass by which to steer the ship. I just want to make the best decisions I can, so that I will be around longer, making drawings and comics and writing and other things that I hope people will enjoy. I’m not sure what will work out with these opportunities that have come my way, and I guess I can’t really say much about them, but I think I’d be a fool if I didn’t give them a try. Uh wow….

Well…

Im an avid comic fan, been that for all my life (yes really!) I i love both eurpean, american, Japanese and the few rusian comics I know, further more I love cartoons.

And Im an web comic reader… must admit I really dont see the difference in my comics and my web comics and I call the all comics…

BUT

But

So many people dont know about webcomics! They might like comics, they might use the web, but they havent yet connected those two.

I belive the touble is that web bases stuff only advertise in certain areas, mainly web an mainly comics….and the other problem is than many hard core comic fans dont realize or acknowledge the potential of webcomics (been gopher at the only Copenhagen Comic CON… they havent seen webcomics yet Ø_Ø)

Webcomics need to get OUT THERE. Pople need to kow that thay are there and where to find them!

If webcomic artists want to make a living, they can no longer entrust the advertising to fans and their peers, but they need to get out and enturage the other comic fans who can’t yet make the commection!

And then there is the matter of payment, which will discuss another time ;)
